The Three Poisons were described as the mental states that pollute one’s mind. It is represented with three animals, each symbolizing a sin - desire, anger and ignorance.
THE WHEEL OF LIFE
The image above is referred to as the Wheel of Life, with the The Three Poisons at the very center as its core. Desire is represented by a rooster, anger by a snake, and ignorance by a pig. It goes in a cycle, as each animal is shown biting the tail of the next.
The Three Poisons is the root of suffering.
